When I prepared chilli con carne for the very first time, I bear in mind. It was several years earlier, and it was so easy! I fried some beef and after that ... I opened up a pack of spices mix! I added it to the meat along with tomatoes, a splash of water and also red kidney beans and done! Yes, even though I am embarrassed to admit to it currently, I need to admit that I used a shop-bought mix to make that recipe in the past. There is something also a lot more awkward. When that all set to prepare package had not been available any longer, I quit preparing chilli con carne. Why? I reflected then that making it from scratch was too difficult which I would never achieve the same taste.

When I ultimately got my nerve and a fantastic dish, too! I understood that thanks to cooking it myself, I knew exactly what was in it. And also it tasted possibly even far better than the one I used to make. Not surprising that then that it soon became one of my household's much-loved meals.
